Some of the young people and Indepedent Visitors got together for an activity day in Nelson.

My Independent Visitor picked me up from home and we drove down the motorway. Roy let us into the building. We had to get all the tables and chairs out. We then set up the activities.

We had glass painting, card, mask and jewellry making, a dance mat and snakes and ladders.

I helped to set up all the activities.
The other people then started to arrive.
I had a go at all the activities. My favourite was mask making. I did not like the play dough it was very sticky and messy.

I had some fun with Claire; she showed me how to use the dance mat.
A lady brought us the food for tea in her van. The pudding was best. I sat next to Charmaine she was lovely.
I took some food home with me so we could have a party at suppertime.
I would like to go out in a group again to a theme park.
