2 Young people from the Project, Jennie and Helen were invited to the Government Launch of the Action Plan for Young Runaway's
at No. 10 Downing St.
They were asked to attend because of the years of commitment they have shown to helping improve services for young people who run away from care and home. Young people and staff from Runaway Projects across the country attended the day and everybody had a great time.
Jennie and Helen met with Ed Balls - Secretary of State and Kevin Brennan - Under Secretary of State. Unfortunately Gordan Brown was busy with George Bush on the day and unable to attend.
After the reception at Downing St of smoked salmon and caviar (ooooh) Jennie and Helen and other young people went on the London Eye before a leisurely train journey home.
