A view of the day by Sharon - Aged 15
A young person who was participating in the fashion show.

A highlight of the Annual Festival was a fashion show put on by young people from Lancashire Childrens Rights Project. Sharon, 15, writes: On the drive to Liverpool, it was like a cat had got my tongue! I was so quiet it was unbeleivable: my heart felt like it was escaping too early. Once inside the cathedral, my adrenaline was pumping to the max. One o'clock arrived, the room was filing up, the atmosphere was like 'WOW' as all you could hear was the audience's laughter, music and the DJ getting the show up and rolling.
I thought that I was going to back out, but with some encouragement, I was hunky dory and raring to go. Walking on to the catwalk I felt like I was dreaming but it was so true, I was standing in front of loads of people and all I can say was that it was unspeakable. After that I had the confidence that I hoped for.
Mrs Sue Vallance, one of our volunteers from Potters Bar said: "we thought the whole day was superb. There was always something to see, hear about and get involved in. There was a queue out of the door to see the young people's fashion show. The Festival just keeps on getting better and better".
